MAKING VINTAGE COOL!

WHAT?

DID I HEAR YOU SAY VINTAGE IS JUST NOT YOUR MODERN-FASHIONISTA-GLAM  GIRL STYLE?  JUST A BUNCH OF OLD MUSTY JUNK IN YOUR AUNT FANNY'S ATTIC THAT DOESN'T SPEAK TO TODAY'S INTERIOR TRENDS?
WELL, TAKE A LOOK AT THIS!

WHO WOULDN'T WANT A PLACE LIKE THIS TO PAMPER YOURSELF?

THIS IS HOW TO MAKE VINTAGE COOL!

I've always been a fan of fashion images, and as a girl, I hung magazine photos of things I liked all over my bedroom walls. Ok, I had some Donny Osmond and David Cassidy mixed in too, I admit.  But I was captured by the beauty of the photography, colors, clothes, and models.  I even have some of my own fashion sketches from the late 70's and early 80's showcased in the prettiest gold frames that I could find!

Then I found The Paper Doll Girls.

This is the most glamorous shop on etsy specializing in original vintage images from the early 1900's through the 1970's.  Whatever era is your favorite, you'll find the most amazing advertisements from the creme de la creme fashion magazines from all over the world!  It's haute couture happiness, ladies!

Here are just a few images to get your fashion juices flowing!

Beautiful ball gowns...

..

Stunning models of the time...
( This Pierre Cardin makes my heart skip a beat!)

Accessories like this divine ostrich plume and jeweled hat..

Furs to DIE for...

Exquisite jewels..
(love the brooch on the back of  her dress.  Sigh.)

Feminine pastel drawings and sketches..

Dramatic black and whites...

SHOES! SHOES! SHOES!

Elegant Glamour...

Sophisticated and Sexy...

Even Ethereal!

What a pretty way to decorate your office walls.  How about framing fun swimwear in a beach house?  Cosmetics or perfumes in a powder room?  Lingerie in a bedroom?
This shop has over a thousand original ads to peruse and purchase...I know you'll have fun looking!
