Wine Tasting Invitation!

I recently received a wonderful invitation to a wine tasting given by several of my friends! These are usually an "all girl event" with us, and we always have the best time catching up on girlfriend gossip! I thought it would be a hoot to see what great stuff I could find using vintage items for the party...........

We could start with these fun retro invitations from Cottage Wear to get everyone the details of the event. Don't you love getting an old fashioned invite in the mail?

Loved these French cut crystal wine goblets from Pink Willy 506. These are Baccarat Crystal in the Massena pattern and catch the light beautifully!

Ms Michigan Roux offers this crystal decanter from Poland for a lovely presentation of your favorite wine!

Everyone will be so impressed with your Versace for Rosenthal bottle stopper with Medusa's image in frosted crystal. Available from Camelot Glass.

These hand painted porcelain wine coasters feature lovely bathing beauties and are just too gorgeous to not have on display all the time. Vintage Guinea has a large Etsy shop, and if you are lucky enough to spend some time there, expect to stay awhile! She has dreamy things!

What an adorable way to give a gift of a bottle of wine! This wine choker is two gifts in one...the recipient also gets the brooch to wear as a memento of a fabulous evening! I found this from
I can't say enough about Sadie Olive's wonderful Etsy store! I think this wine bucket is such an elegant way to chill your favorite wine, and fill with your favorite flowers tomorrow!

This coaster and bottle stopper from Two Vintage Avenue will keep your precious tabletops from getting those nasty rings from the bottle. It's all about the presentation!

Jessica Sparkles offers this decanter and goblet set in the most luscious shade of sapphire blue that truly highlights the incredible cut design!

My parents had one of these cool decanters in the 60's that always sat on their Danish Modern Teak bar...so Mid-Century Modern! This one is from Shuk Girl.

If Provencal is more your style, you'll love this old French wine carrier. It's from Belou 492, and I think it would be a wonderful housewarming gift filled with bottles of your favorite wines.

Wow! I'd love to peruse the engravings in this gem of a wine making book! From Germany, this late 1880's guide is over 600 pages. What a wonderful gift for a real wine lover or book collector!
Visit Elizabeth 100 to find out more!

I've seen so much acrylic Hollywood Regency furniture out there, I thought this great little wine rack would be fun to share, from Cathode Blue.

And finally, what better item to end with than the perfect little dress for a wine tasting party? From Kitten Teeth, I am loving this little cocktail in the color of the evening...Wine! What else?

Cheers,

Lee Ann
