It's a fun night for fashionistas this evening with the presentation of this year's
Golden Globe Awards.

If I were going, I'd love to wear...
...this elegant black chiffon goddess dress from the 1960's. This classic, asymmetrical style is such a flattering silhouette and so ethereal as well as a little sexy, no?

Although this stunning 1920's piece is actually a pendant, I would love walking the red carpet with this pinned to the one shoulder of my dress. Baguettes, round stones and swirl detail make this item an exquisite example of Art Deco at its best! MJH Jewelry Designs.
This seller, ADIN Antique Jewelry, has some of the most spectacular jewels to browse on etsy. Please don't miss this on line store...and be sure to check out the emeralds while you are there!
I found this charming sterling silver and rhinestone bracelet from Moxie's Best Friend. I love the cute buckle detail on this signed estate piece!
Morsom offers this and several other styles of these cool evening bags. I don't thing I have ever seen any like these before...they are actually made of sterling silver, and this one has lovely pheasants and flowers dancing across the front and back!
I think these little Charles Jourdans would walk me down the red carpet just fine, don't you? The strappy gladiators are so much fun in sparkling silver. From Recy.

I wonder how I could incorporate a goddess dress into everyday living. Move to Greece? Actually, it will great for summer parties or laying on the lounge chair on the back deck whilst I allow my husband to fetch me a cool glass of chablis.
Ah, the fantasies...
